Assistant Project Manager

Beginning as a project management intern, my role at Stainless also spread to working with the production team and supporting the assistant producers with contractual, submission, and delivery-based matters. My initial role as part of the project management team involved the day-to-day running of the "Magic: Duels" project, running stand-ups, analysis of sprints in preparation for reviews, and planning upcoming sprints. I was able to apply my technical knowledge throughout the experience to aid communication between various teams and applied this same knowledge when planning live team sprints separately from the main project.

First Class Honours (with two awards)

Graduated with a 1:1 honours degree, an additional entrepreneurial certification, and two awards (TIGA Entrepreneurial Award for my part in the City Block Cats mobile game project, and a UoP Entrepreneurial Award for New Media Solutions, a digital media company I started and turned a profit on alongside a business partner). Course representative 2014-15, my final year. The course not only made me familiar with game development from the bottom up, but by gaining at least basic skills in almost all areas of game development, I am comfortable communicating with various departments on a somewhat technical level, and am able to communicate with publishers on the viability of proposed features.

This is something I've worked on for a number of years; building confidence and studying conversational techniques dependant on audiences.

This includes planning, micro-management and motivational techniques to ensure projects are completed prior to deadlines and to an extremely high standard.

Sports Coaching

This skill has been the bridge between sports and leadership for me, giving me the confidence to install fantastic motivation in every member of any team that I lead.

Hobbies & Interests

My interests include everything from web development to grass roots football to volunteer teaching. I have been an avid football fan from a young age, playing regularly and now hoping to take up coaching in the near future; I have good skills and experience coaching already, though require more certification and a cemented location to be able to take on a new team of my own. I have always been into teaching and sharing my education and experience with younger generations for as long as I can remember; I have some experience teaching young children everything from Physical Education to Programming, and I'm hoping to build upon this in the coming educational year. In addition to physical hobbies, I have also been in awe of all things computing from as far back as I remember. I have very good experience working with and repairing both hardware and software, which I hope to build upon constantly as technology advances.
